This subgroup includes: - Commercial fishing in oceans and coastal areas - Harvesting of marine crustaceans and mollusks - Whaling - Collection of marine animals such as turtles, marine invertebrates (e.g., sea squirts, tunicates), sea cucumbers, and others - Activities of vessels used for fishing as well as the processing and preservation of fish - Collection of other marine organisms and materials such as natural pearls, coral reefs and corals, sea anemones, and algae This subgroup does not include: - Hunting of marine mammals other than whales, such as seals, sea lions, and sea otters, see 0171 - Processing of fish, crustaceans, and mollusks in factories, whether on board or on land, see division 102 - Renting of cruise ships with crew for sea transportation (e.g., for cruises), see 5011 - Services related to patrolling, inspection, and protection of fishing activities, see 8423 - Recreational and sports fishing activities and related services, see 9319 and 9324 - Operation of fishing facilities for sports fishing, see 9319
