Requirements:

  1. NIB (Business Identification Number). Duration: -
  2. Statement of applying CPPIB principles. Duration: -
  3. Quality test results report (from accredited domestic laboratories) for the following fish feed categories:
    • Artificial fish feed, including:
      • Consumable fish feed, including proximate tests (protein, fat, crude fiber, ash, and moisture), free nitrogen, non-nitrogen extract, stability in water, microbiology (salmonella, aflatoxin), antibiotics (nitrofuran, chloramphenicol, oxytetracycline), heavy metals (Pb, Hg, Cd), and melamine testing. Specifically for fish feed with nutritional content below national standards (SNI) or without SNI, amino acid and peptide digestibility testing should be performed.
      • Ornamental fish feed, including proximate tests (protein, fat, crude fiber, ash, and moisture), free nitrogen, non-nitrogen extract, stability in water, and astaxanthin/total carotenoid content.
      • Natural fish feed, including proximate tests. Specifically for dormant egg/Artemia cysts, testing is limited to:
        • Hatching percentage
        • Hatching efficiency
        • Hatching speed
        • Number of cysts per gram

  4. Photocopy of a certified sampler's certificate. Duration: -
  5. Technical data on fish feed, including:
    • Brand, type, production code, purpose, net weight, nutritional content of the fish feed, and fish feed percentage.
    • The names of fish feed raw materials, additives, and fish feed supplements.

  6. For fish feed originating from abroad, it must be accompanied by:
    • Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice
    • A statement of origin or a certificate of origin from the competent authority in the country of origin
    • An analysis certificate or Certificate of Analysis from an accredited laboratory, which should include fish feed composition, chemical contaminants, and biological contaminants
    • A statement/publication from the home country's government declaring that the fish feed is currently traded in the country of origin
    • A letter of designation from the manufacturing company to the importer
