    2. Administrative Requirements:
      • Requirements for Registration:
        • Stamped application letter signed by the authority/owner of the plant variety to PPVTPP
        • Variety registration proposal
        • Results of excellence testing
        • Results of correctness testing
        • Statement of willingness to produce seeds that meet quality standards or minimum technical requirements
        • Statement of willingness to ensure the correctness of the registered varieties as per description
        • Statement of willingness to maintain seed or registered plant archives as authentic varieties
        • Statement of willingness to withdraw seeds from circulation if the variety's registration is revoked
        • Assigning names to registered varieties in accordance with plant variety protection regulations
        • Guarantee letter from the applicant for introduction varieties stating that within 2 (two) years after registration, the seeds must be produced domestically, as long as the seeds can be produced domestically

    3. Variety Examination and Assessment Process:
      • The TP2VH Secretariat inventories and records the proposed registration proposals
      • Variety examination and assessment meetings by TP2VH are held in the first week of each month
      • Results of the variety examination and assessment meeting by TP2VH are reported to the Director General of Horticulture
      • The results of the registration proposals examination and assessment that do not pass are communicated to the applicant by the Chairperson of TP2VH to be sent to PPVTPP

    4. Issuance of Variety Registration Certificate:
      • Results of the examination and assessment of registered varieties that pass are uploaded to the website (http://hortikultura.pertanian.go.id)
      • If there are no objections from others during the announcement, a registration certificate is issued. If there are objections, TP2VH will conduct clarification
      • TP2VH conducts clarification and makes a decision
      • Varieties that have been uploaded for 30 days with no objections from others will have a Variety Registration Certificate signed by the Director General of Horticulture, Ministry of Agriculture
      • The Variety Registration Secretariat sends the signed Certificate to PPVTPP for onward submission to the registration applicant
