Building Construction.

This group covers building construction activities, both for residential and non-residential purposes, whether for self-use, sale, or on a contractual basis. Building construction activities can be subcontracted in part or in whole. If only specific parts of the construction process are carried out, then those activities are classified under major group 43. This group encompasses the construction of all types of residential and non-residential buildings, including houses, residential buildings, commercial and industrial buildings, places of worship, as well as the assembly and erection of pre-fabricated buildings/structures on project sites. It also includes activities related to remodeling and renovating existing buildings/structures.
