PP 8/2021 implements UU 11/2020's reform of corporate-formation rules and introduces the PT Perorangan — Indonesia's single-shareholder limited-liability company for micro and small enterprises. Registration is via AHU Online and bypasses the notary-and-akta path required for standard PTs. The minimum capital is set freely by the founder (no statutory floor; UMK criteria thresholds apply). Eligible only for Indonesian citizens and only for activities meeting the UMK (micro/small) classification. Not available to foreign-owned PMAs.
