Non-formal education is defined by ISCED-P 2011 as education that is institutionalized, deliberate, and designed by education providers to be an addition, alternative, and/or complement to formal education in the lifelong learning process of each person. This education is intended for all age groups, but does not always follow a continuous learning path. It can be of short duration and/or low intensity, and is generally provided in the form of short courses, workshops, or seminars. This group also includes educational activities carried out by educators (e.g. lecturers, tutors, academics, instructors) who work independently. This group includes educational provision such as sports training for groups or individuals, foreign language training, art, drama, or music training, as well as other forms of special training or education provided by camps or schools, which are not equivalent to education in groups 851-854. The teaching provided here includes sports, games and teacher instruction, including yoga instruction. This group includes academic tutorial services, tutoring institutions, remedial learning centers, language instruction, speed reading, and religious instruction. This group also includes training such as non-commercial car driving schools, non-commercial airplane driving, lifeguard training, survival training, speech or speech and computer training, training related to crop protection products.
