Retail Trade

new and used goods to the general public for personal or household consumption or satisfaction, through shops, department stores, consumer cooperatives, kiosks, mail-order houses, the internet, traveling salespeople (sales), street vendors, and others. This main group includes the retail trade of cars and motorcycles, including electric vehicles. Retail trade activities are classified based on the goods traded without regard to the method of sale (through shops, online, kiosks, markets, and others). Retail trade activities are divided into retail trade of specialized goods (groups 472 to 478) and various goods or general goods (group 471). Retail trade includes the trade of second-hand goods (subgroup 4774). These groups are further divided based on the type of goods sold. Goods sold in this main group are limited to goods that are usually related to consumer goods or retail goods. Therefore, goods that are not usually included in retail trade, such as ore, industrial machinery and others are excluded from this main group. The distribution of digital products, including downloading and streaming services, also falls within this division. This division also includes units primarily engaged in the sale to the general public of the merchandise they represent, products such as personal computers, stationery, paintings or frames, even though these products may not be for personal or household use. The usual handling of the trade does not change the basic form of the merchandise and may include, for example, sorting, mixing and packaging, shipping and installation of the goods and sales promotion for its customers, if supplied by the same trader. | retail sale of automotive oils and lubricating or cooling products; | auction house activities that trade in third-party goods, both new and used, including internet auctions; | activities of units that provide intermediary services for the retail sale of both specialized and general goods (marketplaces) that facilitate transactions between sellers and buyers for the ordering and/or delivery of physical goods on a fee or commission basis, without any change in ownership of the goods traded. These activities may be conducted through digital platforms or non-digital channels (division 479); | vending machines that sell goods other than food and drinks; | vending machines that sell food and drinks prepared by the machine.
