Fruits and vegetables, fats and oils, dairy products, grain milling products, animal feed, and other food products. Production can be carried out by the company itself or by others, for example, by specialized slaughterhouses. Some activities are considered processing industries even though they involve retailing products produced in-house, such as those carried out in bakeries, pastry shops, and meat shops that sell their own products. However, when processing is minimal and does not result in a significant change, the unit is classified as wholesale and retail trade (category G). This division also includes the manufacture of liquids that are considered food or are produced using similar processes, such as milk and juices or fruit concentrates.
