Household Activities as Employers of Domestic Personnel
This subgroup includes: - Household activities as employers who hire domestic personnel, such as housekeepers, cooks, servants, head servants, laundry workers, gardeners, gatekeepers, stable attendants, drivers, house sitters, home tutors for children, child caregivers, private tutors, secretaries, and the like. It allows domestic personnel hired by households to declare the household activities that employ them in censuses or surveys, even though the household is an individual. The products produced by this activity are consumed by the households that employ them. This subgroup does not include: - Provision of services such as cooking, gardening, and the like by independent service providers (companies or individuals), see the appropriate KBLI subgroup for the type of service.
