This group includes activities related to natural conservation areas with native ecosystems managed in zones to provide natural tourism facilities in utilization zones. These areas aim to provide natural tourism services with the goal of enhancing the utilization of unique natural beauty for tourism and recreation, research, science, education, culture, supporting cultivation, carbon storage and/or absorption, and natural resource conservation. These activities are conducted by the government, and examples include Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (in West Java), Gunung Leuser National Park (Aceh), Kelimutu National Park (East Nusa Tenggara), Komodo National Park (East Nusa Tenggara), Gunung Palung National Park (West Kalimantan), and Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (East Java).
