Medical and Dental Practice Activities

This subgroup includes: - Health consultation and treatment activities, both with general and specialized medications, provided by doctors, medical specialists, and surgeons. - Dental health practice activities, both general and specialized, such as dentists, endodontists, pediatric dentists, and oral pathologists. - Orthodontic services. These activities can be carried out through private or individual practices, outpatient hospital clinics, or clinics affiliated with companies, schools, nursing homes, labor organizations, fraternal organizations, or even in patients' homes. This subgroup also includes the provision of: - Dental health services in operating rooms. - Personal consultations for inpatients. This subgroup does not include: - The manufacturing of dentures, prosthetic equipment, dental and oral health by dental laboratories, see 3250. - Inpatient hospital care activities, see 8610. - Health professions such as midwives, nurses, and physiotherapists, see 8690.
