8541Sports and Recreation Education

This subgroup encompasses the provision of teaching in sports and recreational activities for groups of individuals, such as in camps and schools. It also includes teaching sports in overnight camp settings. It does not include academic schools, colleges, and universities. Instruction can take various forms, such as educational training facilities, educational institutions, workplaces, homes, and through correspondence, television, the internet, or other means. Instruction within this subgroup is formally organized. It includes: - Teaching sports (e.g., baseball, basketball, cricket, soccer, and others). - Teaching sports in camp activities. - Teaching cheerleading. - Teaching gymnastics. - Teaching horseback riding, both academic and school-based. - Teaching swimming. - Professional sports instructors, teachers, coaches. - Teaching martial arts. - Teaching card games (such as bridge). - Teaching yoga.
