Private Higher Education

This subgroup includes the provision of academic, professional, or vocational education and the awarding of academic, professional, or vocational degrees managed by private institutions. The minimum requirement for entry into this level of education is the completion of at least general secondary education or equivalent vocational secondary education. Instruction can take various forms, such as educational training facilities, educational institutions, workplaces, homes, and through correspondence, television, the internet, or other means. This subgroup includes: - Private higher education for diploma, bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral programs. - The operation of private art schools at the higher education level. A wide range of study programs is offered at this level, with some emphasizing theoretical teaching and others focusing more on practical instruction. Education can take place in classrooms or through radio broadcasts, television, the internet, or correspondence. This subgroup does not include: - Adult education or course-based education, as defined in group 854.
