Government Primary Education

This subgroup includes the provision of academic education and training managed by the government that provides students with the fundamentals of reading, writing, mathematics, and basic knowledge in other subjects such as history, geography, natural sciences, social sciences, arts, and music. Such education is generally provided for children. However, the provision of literacy programs, whether inside or outside the formal school system, similar to primary education but targeted at children above the age for entering primary school, is also included here. This subgroup also encompasses the provision of programs at the same level for children with special educational needs. Education can be delivered in classrooms or through radio broadcasts, television, the internet, or correspondence. This subgroup also includes: - Primary education. - Special education for children with physical disabilities or impairments. - Provision of literacy programs for adults.
