This subgroup includes: - Executive and legislative administration of central, regional, and local government bodies - Administration and oversight of financial or fiscal affairs, such as tax scheme operations, collection of goods and services taxes, tax investigation, and tax violation enforcement, as well as customs administration - Implementation of budgets and public fund management, including revenue collection and expenditure control - Administration for comprehensive research and development policies and related financial institutions - Comprehensive social and economic planning and statistical services at various levels of government. This subgroup does not include: - Operation of government-owned or government-occupied buildings, see 6811, 6820 - Research and development policy administration aimed at improving human welfare and its related funding, see 8412 - Research and development policy administration aimed at improving economic performance and competitiveness, see 8413 - Research and development policy administration related to defense and its funding, see 8422 - Government document and records management, see 9101.
