This subgroup includes the rental and operational lease activities without option rights for machinery, equipment, and other tangible goods without operators, typically used as capital assets by industries. It encompasses all types of equipment used in the production process. It covers: - Rental and operational leasing without operators of machinery and other equipment commonly used as capital assets by industries, such as steam or gas turbines, machine tools, mining and oilfield equipment, measuring and testing equipment, scientific and industrial machinery. - Rental and operational leasing without operators of agricultural and forestry equipment, such as the rental of products classified in subgroup 2821, including agricultural tractors and others. - Rental and operational leasing without operators of construction and civil engineering machinery and equipment, such as crane lorries and scaffold and work platforms without installation and dismantling. - Rental and operational leasing without operators of office machinery and equipment, such as computers and computer peripheral equipment, duplicating machines, typewriters and word-processing machines, calculating and accounting machines, electronic cash registers, and office furniture. This subgroup also includes: - Rental of accommodation or office containers. - Rental of containers. - Rental of pallets (container bases). - Rental of animals (e.g., livestock, racehorses). This subgroup does not include: - Rental of agricultural and forestry machinery or equipment with operators, see 0161, 0240. - Rental of construction and civil engineering machinery or equipment with operators, see division 43.
