Guarantee Companies
This subgroup includes guarantee companies, which engage in activities such as providing guarantees by insurers for the fulfillment of the guaranteed party's financial obligations to the beneficiary of the guarantee. These activities can be conducted conventionally or based on Sharia principles. Guarantee company operations are carried out by conventional guarantee companies, Sharia-compliant guarantee companies, and Sharia-compliant guarantee company units, all of which are regulated and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK).
