This subgroup includes information technology-based peer-to-peer lending services (fintech peer-to-peer lending) businesses. These businesses provide, manage, and operate financial services to facilitate direct lending agreements in Indonesian Rupiah through electronic systems using the internet. These activities can be conducted conventionally or based on Sharia principles. Information technology-based peer-to-peer lending services are carried out by conventional fintech peer-to-peer lending service providers, Sharia-compliant fintech peer-to-peer lending service providers, and fintech peer-to-peer lending service business units, all of which are regulated and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK).
