This subgroup includes: - The production of complete television channel programs, which may consist of purchased program components (such as films, documentaries, etc.), self-produced program components (such as local news, live reports), or a combination of both. These complete television programs can be broadcast independently or produced for broadcasting by third-party distributors, such as cable companies or satellite television providers. The programming can be general or specific (e.g., limited-format programming like news, sports, education, or programs targeting young audiences) and can be made available for free to users or only available through subscription. - Video-on-demand channel programming. - Integrated data broadcasting with television broadcasting. This subgroup does not include: - The production of television program elements (e.g., films, documentaries, advertisements), see 5911. - The bundling of channel packages and distribution of those packages through cable or satellite to viewers, see the main group 61.
