Multimodal Transportation

This group encompasses the transportation of goods using at least two different modes of transportation based on a single multimodal transport document from the point where the goods are received by the multimodal transport operator to a specified destination for the delivery of goods to the consignee of the multimodal transport. The multimodal transport operator not only provides the service of transporting goods from the origin to the destination but also offers additional services such as freight forwarding, warehousing, cargo consolidation, provision of cargo space, and customs clearance for multimodal transport both domestically and internationally.
