This subgroup includes the computer industry and/or computer assembly, such as mainframe computers, desktop computers, laptops, and computer servers. Computers can be analog, digital, or hybrid. Digital computers, which are commonly used, are devices capable of the following: (1) storing processing programs or programs and data required for program execution; (2) being programmed according to user needs; (3) performing desired arithmetic calculations by the user; and (4) executing, without user intervention, a program that requires the computer to modify execution with logical decisions during the running process. Analog computers are capable of simulating mathematical models and consist at least of analog control and programming elements. This subgroup covers: - Desktop computer industry. - Laptop computer industry. - Mainframe computer industry. - Handheld computer industry (e.g., PDAs). - Computer server industry.
