This subcategory encompasses: - Basic form plastic industries, such as polymers (ethylene, propylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and acrylics), polyamide, phenolic gum and epoxides, polyurethanes, alkyd gum and polyesters, and polyethers, silicones, and polymer-based ion exchangers. - Basic form synthetic rubber industries, such as synthetic rubber and factice. - Industries that mix synthetic rubber with natural rubber or latex (e.g., balata). - Cellulose and its chemical derivatives industry.
