This subgroup includes: - Bleached, semi-bleached, or unbleached pulp paper industry through mechanical, chemical (solvent or non-solvent) processes, or semi-chemical processes. - Cotton linters pulp paper industry. - Ink removal and pulp paper industry from used paper. - Paper and paperboard industry used for further industrial processes. This subgroup also includes: - Further processes of paper and paperboard, such as coating, wrapping, and impregnating of paper and paperboard; crepe paper industry; lamination industry with paper and paperboard, if laminated with paper and paperboard. - Handmade paper industry. - Newspaper paper and other printing or writing paper industry. - Wadding and webs cellulose industry from cellulose fibers. - Carbon paper or stencil paper industry in rolls or large sheets. This subgroup does not include: - Corrugated paper and paperboard industry, see 1702. - Industries of articles made of processed paper, cardboard, and processed pulp paper, see 1709. - Coating or impregnating paper industries, where coating or impregnation is the main element, see subgroups where coating and impregnation industries are classified. - Sandpaper industry, see 2399.
