The Textile Fiber Preparation and Spinning Industry

This subgroup includes: - Textile fiber preparation processes, such as silk reeling and washing, degreasing and carbonizing of wool, and dyeing of wool and lamb's wool, fiber separation (carding), and fiber combing (combing) of all types of fibers from animal hair, plant fibers, and synthetic fibers - Spinning and production of yarn or sewing thread for retail sale or further processing, such as texturing, twisting, folding, cabling, and dyeing of synthetic yarn or artificial yarn. This subgroup does not include: - Retting of plant fibers for textile use (flax, hemp), see 0116 - Cotton ginning, see 0163 - Synthetic and artificial tow industry, single yarn industry (including high-strength yarn and yarn for carpets) from synthetic or artificial fibers (from wood pulp), see 2030 - Glass fiber industry, see 2312.
