This group includes the manufacture of ready-made food, solid food, and supplements for pets and livestock, including the production of single (not mixed) animal feed. This group also includes the processing of animal by-products to make animal feed. This group does not include the production of fishmeal for animal feed (see 102), the production of meal (see 104), and activities that produce by-products that can be used as animal feed without special processing, such as bran, residual cereal milling (see 106), and others.
