This category includes the production of food primarily consisting of vegetables and fruits, using various processing and preservation methods, and includes vegetable and fruit products. This category also covers the production of non-durable ready-to-eat foods derived from vegetables and fruits, such as salads, pre-cut or peeled vegetables, tofu; potato peeling industry, other potato processing including potato food and flour, roasting, and food processing from nuts and pasta. This category does not include food or flour processing from legumes, food processing from vegetables and artificial juice, and fruit and nut preservation with sugar (see 107).
