This subgroup encompasses activities related to the capture/harvest of protected fish species and/or those listed in the CITES Appendix, in accordance with their conservation provisions, encompassing pisces, crustacea, mollusca, coelenterata, echinodermata, amphibia, reptilia, algae, and other aquatic biota that reside in marine, freshwater, and brackish water environments for research and development, commercial cultivation, trade and distribution, aquaria, exchange, and maintenance for leisure purposes.
